Luxury and location. Tradition mixed with contemporary. Mulberry Barn was only completed in October 2008 and this traditionally styled house was carefully designed to fit into a conservation area surrounded by grade 2 listed buildings. Hand made tiles and bricks, serpentine walls, cedar cladding and a well laid out garden all ensure the house adds to the character of this special area of Milford village.
Downstairs: Mulberry Barn has a modern and contemporary design. The ground floor is dominated by the large open plan kitchen, dining and living area which leads out through French doors to the large south facing terrace - ideal for alfresco meals,coffee breaks or just enjoying the sun – garden furniture and BBQ is provided. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a bar complete with stools and a wine fridge. Facilities include a 5 ring gas hob, 2 electric ovens, dish washer, large fridge/freezer and microwave oven.
The dining area has a gracious glass top dining table whilst the sitting area has an extra large "L" shape sofa. Also downstairs is a large study complete with work area, a divan and easy chair, whilst the downstairs cloakroom has a generous shower cubicle and the large utility room has a butler sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of storage space.
Heating is provided by gas central heating and a wood burning stove in the living area which also distributes generated heat around the house. Solar panels augment the hot water supply.
Upstairs: The oak staircase leads up to two large en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom faces south and has fine views over Christchurch Bay and the Isle of Wight. This room has a king size bed, which can be split into two comfortable singles,whilst the bathroom has a large free standing bath, basin, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has a double bed and the en-suite bathroom has a large walk in shower,basin and toilet. Both bedrooms have a purpose built wardrobe and dressing table
Other facilities include a 37 inch wall mounted flat screen plasma TV with all free view channels and surround sound, DVD player, CD and radio, amplifier and speaker system and free broadband via a router. We provide guides and maps for many local walks – both coast and forest.
Garden: The south and east facing lawns are completely private and enjoy much sunshine throughout the day.
Parking: Directly outside the front door via a private drive. The parking area can hold two cars comfortably.
Pets: We regret that we do not accept pets at this property

Location: On rural Church Hill and just a two minute stroll down to the village green and all the shops, pubs (3) and restaurants (4). The sea is barely a 10 minute walk away. The New Forest Park starts just over a mile away.
The village of Milford-on-sea is a traditional coastal village that has magnificent views over Hurst Castle, the Needles and the Isle of Wright whilst being only a few minutes drive from the New Forest.
